Monaco to Sardinia Yacht Charter Route: The Ultimate Mediterranean Voyage

Why the Monaco–Sardinia Route Is So Special

This route spans three distinct cruising grounds — the French Riviera, Corsica, and Sardinia's Costa Smeralda — offering an extraordinary variety of landscapes, cultures, and experiences over 10–14 days.

You'll trade the glamour of Monaco for Corsica's wild beauty and then arrive at Sardinia's turquoise bays, creating a voyage that tells a complete Mediterranean story.

Day-by-Day Itinerary: Monaco to Sardinia

Days 1–2: Monaco to Saint-Tropez (60nm)

Depart Monaco and cruise along the legendary Côte d'Azur. Stop at Cap Ferrat for lunch, then continue to Cannes for an overnight. Day 2, cruise to Saint-Tropez for beach clubs at Pampelonne.

Days 3–4: Saint-Tropez to Northern Corsica (90nm)

The overnight crossing from Saint-Tropez to Calvi is one of yachting's great passages. Arrive at dawn to the sight of Calvi's citadel. Spend Day 4 exploring the Balagne coast — Île-Rousse and the Agriates Desert beaches.

Days 5–6: Corsica's West Coast

Cruise south along Corsica's dramatic west coast. Scandola Nature Reserve (UNESCO) and the red cliffs of the Calanques de Piana are unforgettable. Anchor in Girolata, where fresh lobster awaits.

Days 7–8: Bonifacio & the Lavezzi Islands

Approach Bonifacio through its dramatic harbour entrance — chalk cliffs with a medieval citadel perched above. The Lavezzi Islands between Corsica and Sardinia offer some of the Mediterranean's clearest water.

Days 9–10: Sardinia's Costa Smeralda

Cross the Strait of Bonifacio (7nm) to reach Sardinia's La Maddalena archipelago. Continue to Porto Cervo, heart of the Costa Smeralda, where emerald waters and world-class dining await.

Days 11–14: Extended Sardinia Exploration

For 14-day charters, explore Sardinia's east coast. The Gulf of Orosei features dramatic sea caves, and Cala Mariolu is consistently rated Italy's most beautiful beach. Return via Olbia for flights.
